Sony Vegas Pro 9.0
Sony Vegas is a professional video editing software package for non-linear editing systems (NLE) originally published by Sonic Foundry, now owned and run by Sony Creative Software. Originally developed as an audio editor, it eventually developed into an NLE for video and audio from version 2.0. Vegas features real-time multitrack video and audio editing on unlimited tracks, resolution-independent video sequencing, complex effects and compositing tools, 24-bit/192 kHz audio support, VST and DirectX plug-in effect support, and Dolby Digital surround sound mixing. It runs on Microsoft Windows XP (XP x64 not supported) , Vista and 7. In April 2007, Sony along with AMD jointly demonstrated a 64-bit version of Vegas running on 64-bit Vista.
In areas of compositing and motion graphics Vegas provides a broad tool set including 3D track motion compositing with control over z-depth, and spatial arrangement of visual planes including plane intersection. Unfortunately keyframing of simple 2D motion lacks bezier adjustments and multiple keyframed smooth motion is marred by slowdowns or hesitations at each keyframe.
Much of the visual effects processing in Vegas follows an audio-like paradigm. Effects can be applied at any stage of the visual signal flow — event level, track level and output level effects, much like reverb, delay and flange audio effects are applied in a digital audio system, like Pro Tools, Cubase or Sonar. Master output effects can also be controlled and manipulated over time by the use of Master Bus track automation envelopes.
With version 8.0, Vegas now reads MJPEG AVIs (usually from "video" setting on digital still cameras). (With prior versions of the software, installing an MJPEG codec sometimes fixed the problem.) Third-party codecs are supported but it can be difficult to see which codec is being used to play back an AVI. Some of Vegas's codecs are 'native' or built-in.
Vegas features integration with 24p DV. It is also one of the few NLEs which can convert other formats to 24p (or any format to any other format) without any kind of a plugin or third-party application support and is the only pro NLE that allows for multiple instances of the application to be opened simultaneously. Clips and sequences can be copied and pasted between instances of Vegas with ease. Moreover, one instance can be rendering a sequence in the background while the user continues to edit in a different instance of Vegas in the foreground. It also comes with a green screen feature where you can merge pictures into each other.
Also Sony Creative Software recently[when?] purchased the Velvetmatter Radiance suite of video FX and these are included in Vegas 9.

Windows XP is an operating system that was produced by Microsoft for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, and media centers. It was first released to computer manufacturers on August 24, 2001,[3] and is the most popular version of Windows, based on installed user base. The name "XP" is short for "eXPerience, as it says on the Installation CD."[4]
Windows XP was the successor to both Windows 2000 and Windows Me, and was the first consumer-oriented operating system produced by Microsoft to be built on the Windows NT kernel, such as Windows 2000 and architecture. Windows XP was released for retail sale on October 25, 2001, and over 400 million copies were in use in January 2006, according to an estimate in that month by an IDC analyst.[5] It was succeeded by Windows Vista (also based on NT technology), which was released to volume license customers on November 8, 2006, and worldwide to the general public on January 30, 2007. Direct OEM and retail sales of Windows XP ceased on June 30, 2008. Midtown Madness 2 is a free roam racing/arcade sequel to Midtown Madness, part of the Midtown Madness series, developed by Angel Studios (now Rockstar San Diego) and published by Microsoft Game Studios, which features a range of vehicles which can be driven around London and San Francisco.
A Crash Course can be completed in each of the cities. The Cab Driving School in London follows an extremist view of a London Cab driver, where a player must complete objectives in a London cab. The Stunt Driver course in San Francisco allows the player to gain experience in stunt driving for a Hollywood movie, using the Ford Mustang Fastback.
Players can change variables which affect the vehicle's performance and visual appearance of the game before starting a race, such as the weather and time of day. Additionally, police vehicles frequency can be modified, as with the amount of traffic and pedestrians.
Every race or cruise would begin with someone commenting. These commenters would also be heard at the end of a race (not a cruise) saying something that depends on your position upon finishing. The commenters would be different for each race, and they are different for each city (i.e. someone commenting in San Francisco would not be heard in London, or vice versa). These include for San Francisco: a newscaster, a hippie, a stunt driving instructor, a short-tempered film director; for London: a Scottish man, an English woman, and (presumably through her elegant-sounding voice) Queen Elizabeth II, although the woman mispronounces English words using the American slang terms instead.
There are a wide variety of iconic vehicles to choose from, such as the Aston Martin DB7 Vantage, New Mini Cooper and the Audi TT. Each vehicle includes a number of unique paint jobs. Some vehicles also contain unlockable special paint jobs, accessed by completing certain races or Crash Course challenges (or getting a mod off Midtown Madness Archive)
Additional vehicles, which existed in the Midtown Madness 2 beta, were extracted and replaced in the final version; the American LaFrance Silver Eagle Firetruck, a Moon Rover and the Cadillac Eldorado Seville 1959, the latter of which was officially integrated with Midtown Madness 3.

Support for multiplayer gaming via IP address, serial cable, and analogue modem is built-in. Additionally, the game’s multiplayer menu includes a link to the MSN Gaming Zone, which offered Midtown Madness 2 lobbies until 19 June 2006. Similar online gaming sites still support multiplayer gaming and also through instant messenger clients. Multiplayer clients use Midtown Madness 2's built-in DirectPlay support to launch and manage multiplayer sessions. Many areas of the game are open to modification. These additions can easily be added to the game, as they are compressed in the zip file format (the file extension is renamed to .ar, in order to be compatible with the game). New vehicles can be added to the game. These are generally formed by fans producing models from scratch, with real world textures applied. The game's vehicle AI (such as traffic and police vehicles) can also be redesigned. New locales (cities) can also be added to the game. Similarly, there have been modifications of the existing cities, which add components built from scratch and those already available from the game's source files. Physics modifications have also been produced, which vary the world and entity properties of the game, such as modifications which make city objects more durable or realistic. A "drive on water" patch allows the player to easily drive to previously inaccessible areas of the game, such as Alcatraz and the Marin County land mass beyond its terminating loop. Bus routes can also be created to mimic real-life bus driving, or bus racing. Most YouTube videos on Midtown Madness 2 feature Hong Kong bus routes from Kowloon Motor Bus, New World First Bus and Citybus, using vehicles that are painted in liveries of the bus companies and modeled after their real-life counterparts. Installing the server
First af all create a new folder named SRCDS anywhere on disk.
Then download CS Source Server Creator . Double click, Next chose the SRCDS directory and click Install. The installer will open a command prompter black window. Just wait until the installer downloads the server. When it is done, the black window goes away. That means you are done downloading the server.
Some antivirus softwares will get a false virus detection when you run the installer. Don`t worry ! The installer is 100 % safe ! It is just HLDS Update Tool , a little bit simplified for you not to complicate yourselvs with command lines.
Servers configuration
Go to SRCDS\orangebox\cstrike\cfg and check if you have there a file named server.cfg. If it is not there, create it with Notepad or Wordpad and save it with cfg extension. Then open it and copy this:

Opening the server
There is only one way to open the server so pay attention !
Go to SRCDS directory an look for srcds.exe. Right click on it and select "Create Shortcut" or “Send to -> Desktop” (if you want a shortcut on your Desktop) .
Right click thr shortcut and select "Proprieties".
In the Target field leave a space after the last character and copy this:

"+map de_dust2 - the starting map (you can olso change it)
"-console" – is for the ingame console (the one that opens with `)
"-game cstrike" – is for the counter strike game

Patching the server
If you want your server to be Steam Only, skip this step !
But if you want it to accept non steam users, download this patch and unzipp it.

Copy the content of css-dods folder (bin,steam,rev.ini) to SRCDS\orangebox and overwrite the existig files.
Now you have a Counter Strike Source dedicated server that accepts Steam and Non Steam users.
Now we will make sure that you can administrate your server.

In order to install a Counter Strike 1. 6 dedicated server, you need :
a.Windows XP, processor 1000 ghz, memory 256 ram
b. Connexion to internet
c. 300 - 400 MB free space on disk

You shall have to follow a few steps :
1. Connect to the internet
2. Download here the CS 1.6 Server Creator installer and unzipp it anywhere on disk.
3. Create an new directory on your disk and name it HLDS . It can be named anyhow but we shall use HLDS because it`s classic .
4. Now doubleclick on installer.exe and when the selection window appeares you select the new directory HLDS . Hit OK and wait a few moments . A blue window will appear on screen displaying the scroll of the installation . At this point the installer downloads and installs all the server`s components in your HLDS directory. It can take some time to do it, depending on the internet connection , so have a little pacience .When the installer finishes his work , check out the HLDS directory and see if it has approximativly 315 MB .If it has , then everything it`s ok and if it hasn`t 315 MB you`ll have to repeat this step .Open the HLDS directory ; it should look like this :

5. Next step is to set the server up for accepting non steam clients . In order to do that download here the swds.dll patcher . Double click the exe and chose as installation folder, the main directory of your server (HLDS). If you want a Stem Only dedicated server, just skip this step !
6. Next step is to configure te server.cfg in order to make your server work on the internet . Go to HLDS\cstrike folder and open server.cfg with Wordpad or Notepad. Deleeverithing and paste this:

Edit your server name and any other cvar you like (only if you know what you are doing). Save the file and exit.
7. Add these lines in server.cfg . They will make your server visible in game`s Internet list of servers.

8. No go to HLDS\cstrike\liblist.gam , open it with Notepad or Wordpad and add this line:
gamedll "addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll"
9. In order to turn the server on, create a shortcut of hlds.exe file on your desktop and double click it. Edit the Server Name and chose your map, port and RCON Password and click Start Server. The hlds.exe file is located inside your main directory (HLDS).
The installer automatically installed Amx Mod X 1.8.1 on your server. Amx Mod X helps you to administrate your server ( change maps, set up cvars, kick players) and shows the game statistics .
To see if it runs properly go to the server console and type meta list . If the message recived is:
AMX Mod X - RUN
..then everything it`s OK.

Yes it needs a cdkey, or at least mine asked for one when i installed it. Check the inside of the CD case for it or in the manuals that comes with it.

If you're comfortable looking through the registry files of the computer where it was installed, you can get it there.
If you wish to find your license keys from your registry manually:
Warning: Although this method does not require that you edit the registry, please note that you can seriously damage your system by deleting or altering registry keys. Make sure that you back up all important files often.
Go to the computer the game is installed upon, and click Start> Run. In the box, type regedit and hit the enter key.
Click the little + sign next to where it says HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
Click the little + sign next to where it says SOFTWARE
Click the little + sign next to where it says BLIZZARD
Click the little + sign next to where it says BLIZZARD GAMES
Click the little + sign next to where it says DIABLO 2
Click the little + sign next to where it says ERGC
In the pane on the right, you will see something that says default, reg_sz. In the column entitled Data you will see a string of letters and numbers. This is the license key for your copy of DIABLO 2.
Write it down in a safe place- some people write it on the DIABLO 2 disc with a special CD pen (NOT a ballpoint pen!)
When you have finished, close regedit.
Since I don't have Diablo 2 installed on my computer anymore, I can't be sure the HKEY titles I've used are correct. Before you start digging around in your reg keys, make a back up.
You can click on the + signs without messing up the file. As long as you don't delete anything or add anything, your reg keys should be fine. But make the back up anyway, just in case. If the titles I gave above are not correct, look for something similar and click on the + signs to see what it reveals. Your cd key will be a 20 character (or so) string.
